Hulu's documentary about Fyre Festival is now streaming
Beating Netflix to the punch by just a few days
Last week, Netflix teased their upcoming "tell-all" about the Fyre Festival debacle with a trailer, but the streaming platform has been edged out by competitor Hulu, who have released their take on the failed music destination festival by releasing Fyre Fraud today.
Originally announced in April of last year, Hulu's multi-episode documentary promised to feature interviews with locals, vendors, investors and festival attendees that were left stranded in one of the most outrageous festival fails of all time. According to the trailer, organizer-at-large Billy MacFarland even sat down for an interview - likely before he received his six year sentence to prison and settling with the SEC for $27.4 million of fraud charges.
Netflix's full-length documentary will follow on January 18.
