“Our new monthly Apple Music show ‘Interludes Radio’ starts this week. We’ll be taking turns to host each episode and get into the things that inspire us individually,” The xx announced on Instagram this week.
“An hour of music, guests and sneak peeks of what we’re all up to on our own and together,” they added, alluding to the slew of artists lined up to chat with the group.
The first episode is also set to include musical selections from Thom Yorke, Perfume Genius, Yves Tumor, Hercules and Love Affair, and more.
The following episodes of Interludes will be hosted by Jamie xx and Romy, each running monthly with more collaborations with friends of the group.
The xx’s last full-length release, ‘I See You’, came out in 2017. At the end of February, Oliver Sim released a rendition of their hit track ‘Stranger In A Room’ recorded on the band’s 2016 tour marking the first release in almost five years.
Tune in to the first episode today at 2:PM GMT on Apple Music 1, and find out more about The xx’s new radio show, Interludes, here.
