Swedish House Mafia have just dropped another new track

Swedish House Mafia are back again with another new single.

‘Lifetime’ dropped this morning featuring both Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake, alongside a new music video.

The video sees the trio back together again in an apocalyptic setting, exploring a dystopian desert side by side. Talking to BBC’s Zane Lowe last week, the group admitted that they had “missed each other” in their time apart.

Sounding far from the ominous setting in their new visual, the supergroup move away from their original EDM sound to a more pop-centred, hip hop infused track.

Last week, SHM released their first new music in almost a decade, garnering millions of streams on their new single ‘It Gets Better’. The group had hinted at the release with mysterious posters dotted around cities worldwide.

The posters featured three dots from the trio’s signature logo, alongside a date that left fans curious over the ambiguous reveal. SHM also dropped the bombshell news of their new album, 'Paradise Again', which is said to be released before the end of the year.

The Swedish supergroup then returned at full force on their back-to-back release - pulling in unlikely collaborators Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake to vocalise the new track.

Last night, ‘Lifetime’ premiered live on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where the trio also performed ‘It Gets Better’.

Since announcing their reunion, SHM also gave news of their signing to Republic Records. Steve Angello told Zane Lowe “This is the start, all this new music is amazing, it’s been a great time for us.”
