Sònar Lisboa 2022 add over 40 more artists to line-up

The first edition of Sònar Lisboa will take place this year with 40 more acts added to the line-up.

Acts that have been added to the programme include Arca, Bicep, Overmono, Richie Hawtin, Nkisi, Total Freedom and Elkka.

It was previously announced that Honey Dijon, Floating Points, Charlotte de Witte, Thundercat, IAMDDB and others will be performing at the Lisbon event.

Taking place across a range of venues in the Portuguese capital and the first edition of Sònar Lisboa will run from April 8 to April 10.

Sònar Lisboa, similarly to its flagship event in Barcelona festival, has scheduled 3 days and 2 nights and incorporates the focus on topics such as sustainability, science, technology and creativity.

According to a press release the festival will host “talks, debates, workshops, immersive experiences and exhibitions focused on sustainability as an underlying principle in the intersections between science, technology and artistic creativity”.
