It's been an exciting month for The Lab, which headed out on Location this year in full force, landing in Philadelphia, Austin for SXSW and most recently in Miami during Miami Music Week.

Once again returning to the idyllic rooftop of the 1 Hotel in South Beach with Smirnoff, Mixmag promised the city a demanding line-up of surprise headliners - and fans were not disappointed. The Lab Miami battled an impending storm with lightning, wind and rain, but through it all rooftop partygoers remained glued to the front of the decks as they were treated to sets from the likes of South Korean newcomer Peggy Gou, New York's Martinez Brothers and the Drake-approved and Mixmag favorite, Black Coffee.

Memorable sets from all three kept the rooftop vibes going from afternoon until evening, transitioning from melodic and disco-tinged Gou choices to the South African power of Black Coffee. Guests filtered in throughout the duration of The Lab, including a special surprise appearance from Dirtybird head Claude VonStroke, Luciano, MK, Amtrac and Francesca Lombardo.

Sets will be coming soon to MixmagTV but in the meantime, see the photos from The Lab Miami with Black Coffee, The Martinez Brothers and Peggy Gou above.
