Romy and White Claw collaborate on new "Refreshing Sounds" series

Romy has teamed up with White Claw for a new music series, Refreshing Sounds.

As part of the series, the GRAMMY-nominated artist has released an exclusive remix of her 2023 'Mid Air' album track 'Twice' from underground club favourite Julie Desire — listen here.

The xx star is also set to host a pair of Refreshing Sounds parties as part of the series, one in London and one in Ibiza with details expected to be confirmed on the @whiteclawuk Instagram page in coming weeks.

In a nod to 'Twice', a track that celebrates the freedom and community of underground club culture, Romy will also embark on a three-part film series in collaboration with White Claw — exploring the artist's love of queer nightlife and dance music culture.

“Music was my teenage obsession and it has helped me so much with expressing myself in new ways," says Romy. "It has given me so much more confidence to discover this unexpected other side of myself and makes me feel connected to a room full of people in a way I couldn’t feel when I felt too shy to dance."

“I’m excited to be working with White Claw and reimagine my song 'Twice' with a remix by Desire, a producer and DJ I really admire," she continues.

"It feels like a great way of sharing more music for everyone to experience. Summer is a beautiful and special time to discover and enjoy new music and connect with friends, this project feels like the perfect representation of that"

The first episode of the Refreshing Sounds launched last month, keep an eye out for coming episodes via White Claw's Instagram page.
