Romy shares latest video from her debut solo album 'Mid Air'

Romy has shared the latest video from her debut solo album, 'Mid Air'.

The visualiser for 'She's On My Mind' features Maisie Williams, and is directed by Romy's wife and visual collaborator Vic Lentaigne. Its purpose is to capture the thrill of an unfolding night out, with its luminance mirroring the track's playful euphoria, which was co-produced by Avalon Emerson, Fred Again.. and Stuart Price.

'Mid Air' was released on September 8, with Romy writing on her Instagram that the album is a "collection of songs celebrating love, navigating loss and exploring identity."

"It’s musically inspired by dance music, it’s is a love letter to the queer clubs I first went to when I was growing up and people I met there and the music I heard that has made me feel more alive and less alone," she added.

Its release has received such critical acclaim, that Romy has been nominated at next year's 66th GRAMMY Awards for album track 'Strong'.

Accompanying the music video release, Romy announced a string of headline North and South American live shows in the turn of the new year, including her biggest to date at LA's Hollywood Palladium and New York's Knockdown Centre. You can check out all of the dates here.
