It admits that it "ran out of stamina"

Interval, the team behind the continuous 100-hour festival in Romania, is putting all future projects on hold after experiencing a sizeable loss this year.

The promoter posted a photo on Facebook stating "bye for now", explaining that it was "completetly overwhelmed" by the last event, Interval 100, and therefore experienced a damaging financial loss reported to be €70,000.

The message reads: "For the next year we will need to focus all of our time and energy on finding the much-needed support from third party financers and sponsors to help us pay back our partners, vendors and suppliers as well as a few of the artists who played at Interval 100. We cannot go on until all of our debt has been paid.

"The circumstances behind this year's edition were almost as rough as the ones we faced last year, though nothing was out in the open for all to see. The parties were great and the music was exceptional but we apologize for not providing you with all you deserve as a crowd, from customized scenery in Club Napoca to the proper dark club vibe in Form."

Interval 100 launched last year but had to cancel sets by Nina Kraviz and Ben UFO after one of the venues, Club Guesthouse, was not allowed to host it due to safety reasons.

Claiming it "ran out of stamina", Interval thanked everyone for their "involvment and enthusiasm" and says it will do all it can to recover and return in the future.

Axel Boman, Kornél Kovács and Matrixxman were among those who played Interval 100 this year.
