Premiere: Khen teams with Guy J for the mesmerizing 'Prism' off his debut LP
Israel's finest joins forces with Lost & Found head honcho for a major one
Despite years of support from a top-tier fleet of underground elites like Nicole Moudaber, Dixon, Guy Gerber and Sasha, Israeli output Khen seems a master of the waiting game as he now edges close to the release of his debut album.
Long overdue might be an understatement for the producer, who began experimenting with music at the age of nine. But his patience is exactly what makes his album 'One Day of Independence' a guaranteed trove of treasures, out October 28 on Guy J's Lost & Found.
Among the 12-track LP is 'Prism', a standout that finds Khen in arms with the label boss himself, Guy J for a collaboration that shines. Across the span of eight minutes, the duo gracefully mesmerize with a slow-to-blossom methodology that leaves listeners yearning for more. Throughout, the track remains littered with signs of an explosive and demanding techno break down to come, expertly placed and hidden by two artists that easily demonstrate their deep understanding of exactly what the underground dancefloor craves - and in 'Prism', high expectations are not disappointed.
Khen's 'One Day of Independence' is out on October 28 on Lost & Found.
