Pariah and Blawan team up to form new alias, Persher

Techno artists Pariah and Blawan have announced that they will be joining forces as a new alias, Persher.

Under US indie label Thrill Jockey, the pair have also revealed that they will be releasing a mini album titled ‘Man With The Magic Soap’. Formed of seven tracks, the debut release from Persher is due out on October 21.

Via a post on Instagram yesterday, Pariah announced the news saying that the pair have “kind of started a band".

The post continues: “Absolutely buzzing to present our new project, Persher. It’s a proper labour of love and something that Jamie and I have been talking about doing ever since we first became mates well over a decade ago.”

In Blawan’s announcement, he added: “After years of talking about it Pariah and myself finally got our new project “Persher” off the ground.

“Haven’t been this excited to be working on something new in so long and great to explore a music genre that’s close to both mine and Arthur’s heart.”
