Ibiza’s legendary nightclub Pacha is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a day-to-night party headlined by Solomun b2b Marco Carola.

Starting off at Destinos this milestone event will run through the day ending at Pacha.

Joining this mammoth b2b will be Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin, who also hold down a regular residency at the nightclub.

Solomun has also hosted one of the most popular Ibiza residencies at Pacha with his Solomun +1.

His residency saw him bring the concept that partygoers can only bring one friend and the booth is located among the crowd.

Carola has been a huge name in the techno scene with 30 years of experience and his three-deck style of mixing becoming an iconic feature of his sets.

Opening in 1973, Pacha was the first modern-style superclub in Ibiza, later growing to include a hotel business with its El Hotel Pacha.

Since then, its cherries logo has become an iconic symbol within the White Isle, as the nightclub has seen a long list of influential DJs play from Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto and plenty of others.

Current residencies include Claptone’s elaborate Masquerade every Saturday, CamelPhat each Tuesday and one of its flagship parties Pure Pacha running every Thursday with Robin Schulz.

Founder Defected Records Simon Dunmore, reflects on the importance of Pacha saying: “It was impossible to imagine the significance of my trip to Ibiza in 1988, when I first went to Pacha. The music was eclectic, enhanced by my first experience of partying under the stars until sunrise.

“Being a traditional Spanish finca you got the feeling that it wasn’t actually a club, more a glamorous, hedonistic house party, full of beautiful and like minded people. It was a secret theatre, beautiful escape.”

Also speaking on 50 years of Pacha and his current residency, CamelPhat say: “We are absolutely buzzing about our residency at one of, if not the most famous nightclub in the world… Pacha Ibiza.

“As clubbers, Pacha was the first club we went to in Ibiza and it holds so many incredible and personal memories for both of us, so to now become curators & residents of Tuesday nights is a real honour & bucket list moment.

“To be back in a clubbing environment, playing until sunrise is definitely where we feel we belong so this opportunity was just too good to pass up. We’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to deliver an incredible and unique experience worthy of Tuesdays at Pacha. Whatever you do… DO NOT MISS THIS!!!”
