Listen to brand new single 'Is U' now
Overmono have announced the release of their debut album, ‘Good Lies’, landing this coming May via XL Recordings.
Alongside the announcement of their first full-length record, Overmono also dropped a brand new single titled ‘Is U’ due for expansion on the full LP this spring.
‘Good Lies’ is set for release on Friday, May 12, on XL Recordings - the pair’s long-standing record label who have previously released EPs including ‘Everything U Need’ and last year’s ‘Cash Romantic’.

“Across the last two years, we have spent so much time on the road, making music whenever we could,” the pair said.
“Moving around all the time was always really inspiring and got us experimenting a lot and having fun with how we created chords or chopped and pitched vocals. This album is really a letter of love to the journey so far and marks where we want to take things.”
The second single due to land on the debut record, ‘Is U’, follows November’s surprise release ‘Walk Thru Water’ which featured a sample from LA-based singer, songwriter and producer St. Panther.
‘Is U’ comes alongside a video filmed by the duo’s regular collaborator, photographer, and filmmaker Rollo Jackson.

The track made its way onto XL today after a run of leftfield club tracks and EPs through 2020 to 2022, a ground-breaking live tour, and their own ‘fabric Presents’ instalment, each building anticipation for the release of their first studio record.
Also announced today, Overmono will embark on an Australian tour this March before heading to North America where they’re set to play a debut performance at Coachella Festival, amongst other shows in New York, Toronto, and Montreal.
