Orbit DJ Retreats returns to Ibiza for its second year

Orbit DJ Retreats returns to Fred’s Finca Ibiza for a five-day experience encompassing DJ techniques, wellness and production workshops. Mentors include Orbit co-founder Doorly, Rob Da Bank, Hauswerks, Juliet Fox, Mo Funk from Pioneer DJ and many many more.

There will be two retreats run over the opening and closing periods for Ibiza: one on May 16-21, and one October 11-16.

Over the five-day period, mentees will be taught by industry experts on subjects as diverse as learning how to master essential DJ equipment, using social media to further your brand, and production masterclasses, as well as classes on mindfulness and meditation.

There’s also a scholarship up for grabs for one stand-out applicant, as well as one free spot to be won for the winner of the remix competition that they’ll be launching soon.

Co-founder Doorly says, “after last summer’s retreat, the Orbit team and I have been over the moon with the response from our students and the success stories that we’re already having with our alumni, many signing to their favourite record labels and playing dream gigs. I’ve even signed a few to my own label which was a nice bonus, to find such amazing untapped talent like this.”

Last year’s mentors included Gorgon City’s Matt Robson-Scott, Rob Da Bank and artist manager Sam Beck.
