DJ, producer and Mixmag Blackout series guest editor Funk Butcher is set to curate a new event celebrating the Black origins of house music, Houseology: The House That Black Built.

The event is set to take over Peckham Levels on October 22 and will feature DJ sets, performances and talks all with the aim to highlight the unsung heroes of the genre, as well as the rich history of Black artists in dance music.
