​Mixmag and Coors raise £27,000 for Red Cross Ukraine Appeal

With the help of thousands of people who attended Coors Presents Mixmag Live in December, Mixmag and Coors have raised more than £27,000 for the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.

On December 17, 2022, Mixmag hosted a one-off party in partnership with Coors headlined by Carl Cox, followed by more enormous names including Solardo, Manda Moor, Catz ’N Dogz, Emerald, and Melle Brown.

The sold-out show raised a grand total of £27,621 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, which will go toward medical and emotional care for those in crisis.

Thanks to you, this sum will go a huge way in helping to support those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Of that, £1,500 can provide 150 hygiene kits to a family of five, £2,500 could provide 625 blankets to families taking shelter, and £5,000 can provide around 600,000 chlorine tablets to ensure that families have clean, safe water.

£6,000 could provide sleeping mates for nearly 4,000 people who have been forced to leave home, and £12,600 can provide 60 fully equipped first aid kits including supplies and first aiders treating the wounded.

Mixmag Live took place on December 17 at East London warehouse E1. All performances across the evening went ahead in front of bespoke AV backdrops, designed especially for the night in an immersive experience.

The final of Mixmag and Coors’ DJ Quest competition took place on the night with the winner, announced as Lottie Lee, getting the chance to perform a set at The Lab LDN.
