Mall Grab drops new single 'Times Change' featuring D Double E and Novelist

Mall Grab has just released his new track 'Times Change', taken from his upcoming album 'What I Breathe'.

The track features grime superstars D Double E and Novelist and is filled with rolling breaks, heavy basslines, and murky, syncopated drum patterns; a divergence from Mall Grab's signature high-octane dance sound.

The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Jarred Kennedy and Liam Oz which sees Mall Grab, D Double E, Novelist, and friends on various road trips.

Speaking on the track, Mall Grab says, “I made this beat a few years ago in its first iteration with Novelist in mind. Once it reached its final stage I reached out to him, and he wrote the hook and his verse while we were in the studio in west London – conveniently leaving space for a second verse for another London legend.

"I was lucky enough to get D on the track for the second to close it off – both of them bringing their signature styles and finesse, rounding off one of my personal favourites on the LP.”

Both D Double E and Novelist's signature sonics can be heard throughout this new track, with clever lyricism, smooth flow, and hardcore influences creeping through.

Mall Grab, real name Jordon Alexander, collaborates with Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Novelist, D Double E, and Nia Archives on his upcoming album, which is supposed to represent a new chapter for the artist who is ready to explore the intersection between dance, hip hop, pop, and hardcore.

This will be Jordon's debut full-length album as Mall Grab. Mall Grab's eclectic and high frequency sets and tracks have earned him a plethora of followers all around the world since he first made moves within the scene in 2015.
