Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and Function launch new LSD imprint
The techno supergroup's 'Second Process' EP arrives this June
Fresh off their joint live performance at Movement Detroit this past weekend, the techno supergroup LSD - which consists of Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and Dave Sumner (aka Function) - are launching a new self-titled record label with 'Second Process' - a six-track double-pack that is set to land on June 28.
The trio dropped their debut EP 'Process' via Ostgut Ton back in 2017. The project focuses on "the psychedelic aspects of techno" and it seems only appropriate that they've adopted LSD as their moniker since it uses the first letter of each of their names.
'Second Process' is a heavy display of the group's "melodic and mind-melting techno" that permeates with "surreal atmospheres and propulsive drum-programming." Ahead of the release, LSD has shared the EP cut 'Process 7' which can be streamed below.
