LA-based SOS MUSIC launch their label with a charity compilation featuring rRoxymore, Violet and LCY

Proceeds will be split between three different charities providing for women and transgender people

LA-based SOS MUSIC launch their label with a charity compilation featuring rRoxymore, Violet and LCY

SOS MUSIC are releasing a charity compilation, ‘SOS Music Vol. 1’, on October 23.

Featuring contributions from rRoxymore (pictured), Umfang, Violet, LCY, Nene H and many more, the proceeds will be split between three charities: the Transgender Law Centre, a transgender-led civil rights organisation fighting for the rights of transgender people to be inscribed into law; Downtown Women’s Shelter, which focuses on serving and empowering women who either are currently or were formerly homeless; and the Women’s Refugee Commission, which is fighting to create better living conditions for women and children fleeing conflict and crisis in their home countries.

SOS MUSIC is an LA-based event series with an accompanying radio show on DUBLAB. Set up by Maddy Maia and Tottie, they intend this next step as a label to be a place to champion diverse underground musical talent.
