Kodak Black was arrested last week on felony drug charges in Florida and has since been released from the jail on $75,000 bond.
Arrested in South Florida, Black was charged with trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance after being pulled-over for a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale according to the Miami Herald.
Black was said to be driving an SUV with window tints that “appeared to be darker than the legal limit” and an expired registration tag according to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho.

The Miami Herald also reported that Florida’s Highway Patrol could smell marijuana therefore searched the car finding 31 tablets - that were later identified as oxycodone - as well as almost $75,000 in cash.
Black’s driving licence expired over 30 days prior to the stop and he was held in Broward County Jail in Florida before being released.
When contacted by Pitchfork, Black’s lawyer Bradford M. Cohen wrote: “Never judge a case based on an arrest. There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of 75,000, and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly.”
