Iglooghost, Kai Whiston and BABii join forces as Gloo

Three of the UK's most imaginative producers, Iglooghost, Kai Whiston and BABii, have come together to form a new supergroup which bears the same name as Iglooghost's imprint, Gloo.

Close friends and longtime collaborators, all three artists have made a name for themselves with their distinctively anomalous sounds and aesthetics. Both Whiston and Iglooghost grew up in a small town together and been producing music since the age of 12. The textural tones and exciting pace of Whiston music have had the scene taking note of his style since the release of his 2017 debut EP 'Houndstooth'.

Iglooghost, who was first signed to Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint for his debut EP 'Chinese Nu Yr' at the tender age of 18, has continued to develop his playful visual aesthetic and frantic, brisk and chimerical sound in a way that is positively hypnotizing.

BABii, the newest to step into the music game, has assisted both Iglooghost and Whiston in the development of their colorful and demented essence, both visually and sonically, for years. She's quickly shown off her knack for blissed-out arrangements and outstanding vocal work with her debut album 'HiiDE'.

With the arrival of their first collaborative Gloo single 'Lockii', it's safe to say that we can expect more musical exploits from this superb trio.

Listen to 'Lockii' below.
