Hunee announces five-week residency at Phonox
The Lifetones boss will descend on South London every Friday in March, marking eight years since his Phonox debut
Hunee has announced a five-week residency at Phonox, which will see the DJ and producer take over the South London nightclub every Friday in March.
The residency marks eight years since the Lifetones boss first appeared at the Brixton venue, who - in an announcement for the takeover - described Phonox as “a club that feels like home, a crowd that feels like family, and a party where the music matters.”

Joining him will be a curated line-up of “inspiring DJs” picked out by the artist, with the list of appearances set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Towards the end of 2023, Hunee played all night long at Phonox — but the upcoming residency marks his first in the UK since 2019's stint at East London's XOYO.
Before his Phonox residency, Hunee will play alongside DJ Amir for one night only at Paris’ La Bellevilloise — then later in the year he is set to play Sun & Snow Weekend in Granada, Spain and the Amsterdam-based festival Lentekabinet '24 in May.
Currently running Fridays at Phonox is London's own Romare supported by the likes of Mytron, Nail, Tarzsa, and OITO//OITO with his closing party including sets from Cody Currie and Amanda Baun.

For February, Peach will be Phonox’s resident DJ each Friday enlisting the likes of C.K, ISAbella, Livwutang, DJ Sports as well as a special guest still yet to be announced.
“To me, Phonox is a club that provides many generations a place to discover new sounds & dance,” Peach said in her residency announcement. “I’m proud to present programming every Friday in February that I think is a representation of some of the most timeless sounds in modern dance music.”
