The Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Bonobo nominated for 62nd Grammy Awards

The nominations for the 62nd annual Grammy Awards have been revealed with many dance music favorites being considered, including Soulwax, The Chemical Brothers, Bonobo, Tycho and more.

In the category of Best Dance/Electronic Album, the nominations are Apparat 'LP5', The Chemical Brothers 'No Geography', Flume 'Hi This Is Flume', Rüfüs Du Sol 'Solace' and Tycho 'Weather'.

In the second dance music category of Best Dance Recording, the nominations are Bonobo 'Linked', The Chemical Brothers 'Got to Keep On', Meduza feat. Goodboys 'Piece of Your Heart', Rüfüs Du Sol 'Underwater' and Skrillex & Boys Noize feat. Tay Dolla $ign 'Midnight Hour'.

A welcomed addition to this years Grammy Awards is a Best Remixed Recording nomination, with Soulwax's remix of Marie Davidson's 'Work It' getting the nod. As arguably one of the most influential tracks of 2019, having soundtracked festival stages around the world, it was included in Mixmag's Best Tracks of The Year So Far list back in June.

Other noteworthy nominations include Thom Yorke's 'Anima' and 'Suspirium', nominated for Best Alternative Album and Best Song Written For Visual Media respectively. The Chemical Brothers are also nominated for Best Music Videowith 'We’ve Got to Try'.
