Glastonbury announces major change to ticketing platform ahead of next week
Buyers who use the "refresh" tactic may struggle this year...
Glastonbury has announced a big change to its ticketing website, ahead of passes going on sale next week.
Last month, organisers confirmeded that tickets will go on sale from Thursday, November 14 — for coach and ticket packages, with general sale commencing on Sunday, November 17, at 6:PM or 9AM respectively.
According to Glastonbury's website, tickets for 2025 will set you back £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee.

Organisers have now warned prospective buyers to log on to Glastonbury's ticketing website, which is run by See Tickets, "a few minutes early" due to a new change in the booking system process.
The change comes by way of a newly-added "queue" to the website, that will force buyers to wait "their turn" to buy tickets.
According to Sky News, organisers said this was in an effort to prevent buyers "gaming the system" by refreshing their webpage continiously, or by attempting to buy tickets using multiple devices.
"Rather than refreshing the holding page to attempt to access the booking page," Glastonbury has said via its website. "This year, when the ticket sale begins everyone who is already on the page will randomly be assigned a place in a queue to access the booking process.

“Anyone who logs on once the sale has started will automatically be added to the back of the queue, so it's important to make sure you are online ready at least a few minutes before the sale opens," it adds.
"Once you are in the queue, a progress bar will indicate how close you are to reaching the booking page. Please do not refresh this page or use multiple devices or tabs or you may lose your place in the queue.“
