​When do Glastonbury 2025 tickets go on sale and how much are they?

After a lengthy wait, Glastonbury Festival has finally revealed the dates you can expect to try for 2025 tickets – and how much they’ll set you back.

So, when do Glastonbury 2025 tickets go on sale, and how much will they cost?

Yesterday, October 10, Glastonbury revealed that tickets with a coach travel package are set to go on sale on Thursday, November 14, while general admission tickets will go on sale three days later on Sunday, November 17.

Last year, coach tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2024 sold out in just under half an hour, while general admission tickets were scooped up in under an hour. Glastonbury 2024 was reported to have had the “highest percentage” of ticket balances paid in the festival’s history, meaning fewer tickets were available for April’s resale.

According to the official Glastonbury website, tickets for 2025 will set you back £13.50 more than this year’s, with standard tickets now costing £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee – up from £360.

Those looking to purchase tickets can buy up to six at a time, and will need to pay a £75 deposit. Coach travel tickets will also require additional costs depending on coach prices. The remaining ticket balance will then be taken in the first week of April 2025.

The price of tickets has increased £13.50 year on year, seeing a £108.50 increase in the past six years. In 2019, tickets cost £265 plus a £5 booking fee.

Last year, festival organiser Emily Eavis defended the price hike, blaming "challenging times" post-pandemic and the high costs of running the festival for the increase.

She explained: “We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, whilst still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of COVID.”

The next edition of Glastonbury Festival will go ahead from June 25 - 29, 2025. In July, Emily Eavis revealed to The Sun that Glastonbury will take a fallow year in 2026 to “give the land a rest”.

She also told The Sun that they were "already in talks with some acts” regarding next year’s event, saying: “It’s exciting!".
