A remix album of Fraser T Smith's ‘Future Utopia’ is on the way

A remix album of Frazer T Smith’s ‘Future Utopia’ titled ‘12 Questions After Dark’ has been announced.

UNKLE, India Jordan, DJ Seinfeld, and many more have contributed remixes to the project, which seeks to expand on the world created by Smith’s critically acclaimed ‘Future Utopia’, which encouraged creativity from those on the project by posing important questions and asking artists to build upon those ideas.

Speaking about the project, Smith said:

“It’s a dream to have worked with some of the most cutting edge and iconic names in electronic music on 12 Questions After Dark, and the result is a new creative take on the original 12 Questions, remaining faithful to the answers, yet pushing the sonics and interpretation into new realms."

‘What Happens Next?/Way Back When’ is reinterpreted by Lafawndah, with pulsating synths and a chugging groove, while the producer keeps the horn section of the track the same and reimagines the vocal line driving the track.

While ‘Children Of The Internet’ is reworked by HAAI, incorporating Dave’s lyricism into swirling electronic production.

‘Children Of The Internet (ft. Dave and Es Devlin)’ has recently been nominated for an Ivor Novello award for ‘Best Contemporary Song’.
