Field Maneuvers reveals stage hosts for 2024

Field Maneuvers have shared the first wave of names who will be partnering on stage takeovers and programming acts.

Taking place this August in a secret Norfolk location, the festival has revealed the return to staple collectives and partners to the weekender including Dalston Superstore, Dialled In, Machine, Neighbourhood and Pacifist Techno Sanctuary.

New recruits to this year’s festival include KALLIDA, LOCAL, and Intervention curated by Ifeoluwa and Laser Dome and Low End Dreams for their debut takeovers.

Along with this, Field Maneuvers has also teamed up with Resident Advisor to share recordings from last year’s 10th anniversary of the festival.

These sets are from Bored Lord, Hannah Holland and Josh Caffé, Optimo (Espacio),I. JORDAN and Ben Sims b2b DJ Bone.

With a full line-up not out as of yet, the festival have shared that it plans to go “back to its roots” and look to scale-back to a more intimate affair.

Last year, organisers of the festival shared via social media that 2024 will mark the last edition of the Norfolk-based festival in its "current form" with plans to make it a "smaller and more intimate" festival.

The team hope to spend "less time worrying about marketing, ticket sales and paperwork, and more time on curation and enjoying the party."

Previously, Field Maneuvers set up a crowdfunder to save the festival altogether as no-shows at the 2022 edition led to £40,000 in losses.

Field Maneuvers have shared: “Here we go. The final Field Maneuvers… in its current form. What exactly does that mean? To be honest, your guess is as good as ours. 21 festivals in the UK have already cancelled this year so we need to do some radical re-thinking in order to survive.

“So just as we've finally ironed out (most) of the creases, what better way to celebrate than by returning to square one. One thing we do know for sure is that the FM [Field Maneuvers] we have all grown to love and know will cease to exist in its current guise after this party.”

The festival concludes: “Thank you all for joining us for this ride.”

Tickets to this year’s Field Maneuvers are available to purchase here. The 2024 edition will take place in a yet to be revealed location between August 16 - 18.
