A new box set from Fatboy Slim is available now celebrating the 20th anniversary of his memorable Big Beach Boutique party in Brighton.
On July 13, 2002, Fatboy Slim - Norman Cook - hosted a free party on Brighton beach which saw over 250,000 people gather together.
Now 20 years on from what was known as the “biggest event the UK has ever seen” Fatboy Slim has announced a celebratory box set titled Right Here, Right Then.
Right Here, Right Then includes multiple recordings from the original set, a brand new DJ mix, a DVD of the original concert, a 48-page,12” book with exclusive photos and a foreword penned by Cook, along with much more.
Reflecting on the iconic event Cook said: "I think I was too stressed on the day about crowd safety to really take it all in, to fully enjoy the experience.
“Now I feel I can look back at the footage, remember the tunes, that sunset, my home seafront looking like a carnival in Brazil, so many beautiful people having the time of their lives, I have never seen such joyous madness, such good natured abandon…
“A wise man once described me as ‘a shepherd of moments’.”
Fatboy Slim has also previously announced a new festival weekender, 'All Back To Minehead', which kicks off on November 18 until November 21.
