Doc'n Roll announce details of their London film festival
There will be premieres of films on Sébastien Tellier, experimental sound and women synth pioneers
Doc’n Roll have announced details of their London film festival. The festival will run from November 4 - 15 with a combination of screenings in cinemas across the capital and online screenings.
Doc’n Roll is a music documentary festival. This will be its seventh year running, and they recently launched an online pay-per-view streaming platform Doc’n Roll TV.

Some notable documentaries being premiered at the festival include ‘The Sound Is Innocent’, an exploration into experimental sound and when sound becomes music, ‘Sébastien Tellier: Many Lives’, diving into the life and times of one of France’s electronic pop icons, and ‘Sisters With Transistors’, which reveals more about the women who pioneered synths and electronic music.
The online premieres are currently available to preorder, and will be streaming from November 9 - 16 on Doc'n Roll TV. These include ‘Born Balearic: Jon Sa Trinxa and The Spirit of Ibiza’, ‘Persian Black Metal Story’ and ‘JoyCut - Robert Smith’s Meltdown’.
