Dekmantel announces full 2022 line-up

Erika de Casier, Joy Orbison, Overmono, LSDXOXO and SHERELLE will all be heading to the Netherlands this summer

Dekmantel announces full 2022 line-up

Dekmantel has just announced a huge list of names that are due to appear at its 2022 event, taking place from August 3 to August 7 this year.

The festival is back this summer after a two-year hiatus, the Amsterdam organisation is ecstatic to reconvene for this year's much-anticipated five-day event - with a line-up that is "pushing innovative sounds and navigating the outer limits of their musical spectrum."

The event showcases performers such as Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 ft. Yasiin Bey, Batu, Juliana Huxtable, LSDXOXO, Gaussian Curve, Erika de Casier, Joy Orbison, and SHERELLE across two days along the IJ river and three days at their quiet home base of the Amsterdamse Bos.

The line-up began to be announced through the festival's Instagram page. It includes some of the hottest names in electronic music right now, including Overmono (live), Anz, Tirzah, and Jayda G.

They will be joined by some of the biggest names in electronic music history, including DJ Stingray, Jon Hopkins, Squarepusher, Channel One Soundsystem, and more.

Writing on Instagram, the festival said: "The wait has been long, but the return sweeter than ever: this is Dekmantel 22. A program connecting the fringes of our sonic world, and we can't wait to explore it all with you."

Fans can also expect a Hessle Audio crew takeover (Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Pangaea) and a 7-hour b2b set from Antal and Hunee.

This year's edition also has some notable names in the electronic music world who have all been paving the way in the 2020s, including ASSS, Nyege Nyege’s Kampire, DJ Haram, UNiiQU3, Jossy Mitsu, Akua, VTSS, Parris and DJ Lag.

Dekmantel said: "Once again, we found a home for a roster of artists that spans wider than ever, spread across Wednesday’s tentpole Opening Concerts; Thursday’s extensive pre-programme of talks, film screenings, radio shows, club events, split across venues either side of Amsterdam’s IJ river; and the Friday to Sunday daytime festival, encompassing eight stages in the leafy, spacious and now-infamous Amsterdamse Bos. We can’t wait to explore it all with you."

Pre-registration ticket sales of the Wednesday and Thursday programs and a tightly limited batch of Amsterdamse Bos tickets go on sale= Thursday, March 23 at 11:AM CET, followed by the regular sales of the remaining tickets on Friday, March 24 at 11:AM CET.
