Critical Music founder Kasra Mowlavi launches new label Best Intentions
Each release will donate to the contributing artist's chosen charity
Founder of Critical Music Kasra has launched new label Best Intentions, centred upon no musical, style or tempo limitation.
To accompany the launch, Best Intentions has welcomed Tim Reaper for its inaugural release, channelling '90s jungle on EP 'Raw Energy Movements'. The imprint's sophomore release has been announced, too; gyrofield's 'Flower Burial' album, set for release on December 6, blending influences from house, techno, ambient and acid jazz.
Lead track 'Flower Burial' is available to check out now here.

Each release donates a portion of its profits to a charity of the artist's choosing, with Tim Reaper choosing Motability and gyrofield Medecins Sans Frontieres.
“After 20 plus years of Critical Music I wanted to try something a little different," explains labelhead Kasra. "Best Intentions came about from a desire to put all the things I'd learnt running a label into something new that maybe didn’t have as many musical boundaries and could lead me down different paths of creativity and vision.
"The label won't have any musical limitations, style or tempo [limitations] and with each release we will give a portion of profits to a charity of the artist's choosing.
"The similarities with Critical will be that we want to work with good people, releasing quality music, presented in the best way possible. We aim to do everything with the best of intentions.”
