Goddezz shares latest compilation 'RE:DREAM II'
"Another trip into the current vistas of progressive house and trance, this time round presenting a darker and more hypnotic sound"
London-based label Goddezz has released a new V/A compilation, 'Re:Dream II'.
The sequel to 'RE:DREAM' V/A, released two years prior, it takes a darker foray into progressive house and trance sounds in comparison: think driving, meandering soundscapes and progressions, with moments of relief provided by euphoria and elation sprinkled into each track.
Artists involved include Aiden Francis, Dylan Forbes, Abdul Raeva, WOST, Wigs and more.

"Goddezz is overjoyed to present the sequel to our 2022 compilation/dream archive with 'Re:Dream II'," the label tells Mixmag. "Another trip into the current vistas of progressive house and trance, this time round presenting a darker and more hypnotic sound and showcasing artists who we feel are at the top of their worlds right now. We’re beyond honoured to gather together these unbelievably gifted creators and that we can dream of a world of trance again, now & 4eva"
"I'm very happy to be part of this compilation alongside so many incredible artists, and especially with my track 'donde esta el amor?', which is one of my latest experiments and approaches to making more emotional dance music," adds WOST. "I usually make a lot of club-focused music, but lately, I've leaned towards giving it a more emotional and nostalgic character—a bit like those tracks that give you goosebumps and bring tears to your eyes in the club. It’s not something too deep, but I like the way it makes me feel.”
The compilation rounds off a busy year for the label: of particular note are LUXE and Angel d'lite's split EP 'Enchanted', and DJ Deep Heat's 'Age of Aquarius' release, with the Goddezz imprint particularly important for V/A contributor Wigs:
"'Eternal Sun' was conceived in the spring of this year with a clear eye toward the summer. I wanted to create a blissful, balearic feel whilst maintaining a modern, punctual drive to the production. I was so happy to contribute this track for the compilation, amongst so many of my biggest inspirations in the scene. I’ve been following Goddezz closely since I was 17 and was a big admirer of the first edition of the V/A so I’m over the moon to play a small part in the second edition!”
