Clasico launches new global-focused compilation series with 'Superclásico Vol. 1'
The 16-track collection will feature music from Coffintexts, WTCHCRFT, Nite Fleit and more
Clasico has launched a new, global-focused compilation series — with first edition ‘Superclásico Vol. 1' set to land on the Local Action sibling label on February 29.
The 16-track compilation features contributions from artists across North America, the UK, Australia and Mexico — including Miami's Coffintexts, Brooklyn's WTCHCRFT, London-based producer Nite Fleit and more.
Launched in 2023, Clasico is curated and operated by London-based DJ and producer, ELEANOR. The new series is set to feature a "family tree" of label affiliates and the “cutting-edge of global club music."

The label posted to Instagram to share news of the compilation, prompting featured artist Martyn Bootyspoon to comment: "I can only say 'SuperClásico' as if I am wearing my Versace shirt sleazily unbuttoned after a martini."

Clasico made its debut with the release of Coffintexts' EP, 'Touch' in 2023 — speaking to Mixmag shortly after the release, she described being "honoured" at being involved "so early in the label's journey"
