Caribou releases first track in two years, ‘Honey’

Caribou is back with his first single in two years.

The new track, ‘Honey’, has already been teased to fans in the past year, including at his headline set at the BBC Radio 6 festival at The Warehouse Project.

‘Honey’ has been released alongside a flamingo-inspired music video from Richard Kenworthy of Shynola, featuring trippy artificial intelligence-made visuals.

For the past few years Caribou, AKA Dan Snaith, has been releasing under his Daphni alias.

As Daphni, he has played back-to-back with Floating Points at Four Tet’s Under The K Bridge event this year, and is set to play at Coachella’s all-new electronic music stage, Quasar.

His last release as Caribou was the GRAMMY-nominated single ‘You Can Do It’ which dropped back in August 2021.

Before this, Snaith shared his album ‘Suddenly'' — which concentrated on life-changing moments focusing on loss, love and death.

“I feel like when I listen to this album – or at least the mellower moments – I hear the kind of music that wants to comfort, wants to give a big hug, to reassure and be supportive,” he told Mixmag in his cover interview ahead of the launch of ‘Suddenly’.
