Charli XCX and Gesaffelstein have linked up on a brand new track, set to appear on the pop artist’s highly anticipated sixth studio record ‘BRAT’ in June.

‘B2b’ merges Charli XCX’s pop sensibilities with Gesaffelstein’s harder club productions, marking the fourth release from the new album.

The track follows the release of ‘Von Dutch’ in February, the first single to land from the forthcoming record. The star had previously teased snippets of the single on TikTok.

‘Von Dutch’ also teased the new club-focused path Charli XCX is heading down on the next record, with synth-heavy production from EASYFUN.

In February, Charli XCX hinted that 'BRAT' will lean into dance music after writing on Twitter: “I was born to make dance music.. I came from the clubs.. xcx6 is the album I’ve always wanted to make.”

Since then, two new tracks have also appeared ahead of the record, ‘Club Classics’ and ‘So I’, the latter a heartfelt tribute to her late friend SOPHIE. In a cover interview with The Face, Charli XCX explained that ‘So I’ explores feelings of grief.

“There was a lot of distance between us because I was in awe of her and wanted to impress her,” she told The Face. “I didn’t feel like I was magical enough for this unbelievably magic person.”

Last month, Gesaffelstein unveiled his third studio album, 'GAMMA’, his first record in more than five years. The record landed on March 29 featuring 11 brand new tracks, harking back to the producer’s “raw industrial sound”.
