Aphex Twin has announced the reissue of his ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II’ in celebration of its 30th-anniversary.

The new edition marks the first time that every track from the album has been available on all formats, with ‘#19’ having previously only been available on the original vinyl release in 1994.

The reissue is also set to include two additional tracks: ‘th1 [evnslower]’ and ‘Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev’.

The original album was released in 1994 by AFX, AKA Richard D. James, when he was in his early ‘20s and quickly became one of his most influential and recognisable projects following up from his debut ‘Selected Ambient Works 85-92’.

Set to land on October 4 via Warp, the expanded edition will be available as a four-LP boxset, standard pressing, three-disc CD, two-pack cassette and digitally.

Last year saw Aphex Twin return to live performances after a four-year hiatus at London’s Field Day festival.
