Aphex Twin announces first London show in four years

The elusive producer is set to appear at London's Field Day festival in August

Aphex Twin announces first London show in four years

Field Day has revealed Aphex Twin as this year’s headliner seeing his return to performing after a four-year hiatus.

Joining him in Victoria Park this August will be Fever Ray, Kelela, Arca, Jon Hopkins, Bonobo, SBTRKT, Jayda G, Actress, Moderat, Sudan Archives and Mount Kimbie's Kai Campos.

Other names on the line-up include TSHA, Desire, Giulia Tess, Hagop Tchaparian, LSDXOXO b2b Juliana Huxtable, MAFRO, Surusinghe and more still to be announced.

Aphex Twin - real name Richard D. James - hinted at the headline slot last week via a mysterious website that had little information on the site apart from “LONDON” splashed across the page.

His last performance took place nearly four years ago, when he played a headline show at Printworks.
