17-year-old author Beau Waddell has penned a brand new book chronicling the music of Aphex Twin, titled Aphex Twin: Every Album, Every Song.

The track-by-track book is out now, exploring the 30-year history of Richard D. James’ music under his Aphex Twin moniker, dating back to his first ever release in 1991, ‘Analogue Bubblebath’.

Aphex Twin: Every Album, Every Song is part of a series of books from Sonicbond Publishing analysing tracks from popular artists. Previous editions have looked at Brian Eno, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and more.

The comprehensive book takes an in-depth look at each of Aphex Twin’s six albums to date, which includes 1992’s ‘Selected Ambient Works 85-92’, 1995’s ‘I Care About You Because I Do’, and 2001’s ‘Drukqs’.

The book’s description reads: "From the well-known to the obscure, the rapid bursts of activity in the 1990s to the so-called hiatus in the 2000s, every corner of the Aphex Twin's formidable discography is examined in vivid detail.”

Every Album, Every Song is said to provide “insightful analysis and an impetus to discover for both new listeners and hardcore fans”, giving a look at the visionary genius of Aphex Twin over the decades.

Waddell also takes a look at EPs and singles released by the elusive artist on record labels including R&S and Warp, as well as a peek into releases put out under secondary aliases such as Caustic Window and Bradley Strider.
