Aphex Twin posters appear across Bristol hinting at first show in Bristol in 20 years

Posters with the infamous Aphex Twin logo have popped up across Bristol alluding to the artist’s first show in the city since 2006.

These posters also include a link to a website which asks for people to subscribe their email but no reports of a Bristol-based show have been announced.

This isn’t the first time this has happened, as back in 2020, billboards of a red version of his logo were spotted in London, Bristol, Berlin and LA.

According to Resident Advisor the last time Aphex Twin - real name Richard D. James - performed in Bristol was in 2006.

On the Aphex Twin Reddit forum, users are suggesting that the artist will play FORWARDS Festival in Bristol as one person explains: “Team Love LTD is written in the footing small print as the promoter on the website landing page and they are the promoter of the festival.”

Earlier this year, Twin shared a similar cryptic message hinting his headliner slot at Field Day with a mysterious website that had little information on the site apart from “LONDON” splashed across the page.
