The Best DJ Mixes Of The Year 2026 So Far - February - Mixmag.net

Sir Spyro ‘Deep Medi x KINDRED Radio’

After dropping his first new music on Deep Medi in over a decade, grime producer and DJ Sir Spyro called for celebrations at London’s KINDRED Radio with a drop-in session shelling all things grime and 140. Inviting the likes of Killa P, Capo Lee and Spooky Bizzle to jump on the mic, this Deep Medi takeover had crowds spilling out into the streets of Clerkenwell.

Clementaum ‘The Mix 092’

Inspired by the vivacious energy of carnivals across Brazil, incendiary DJ and producer Clementaum dropped a 100% production mix for a new instalment of The Mix featuring plenty of unreleased goodness spanning guaracha, Brazilian funk and raptor house. “I wanted the energy to feel so strong that you can’t help but get up and dance wherever you are,” she explained.

Kevin Saunderson ‘In Amber 003’

In one of the first instalments of In Amber, the new mix series from Manchester nightclub Amber’s, Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson steps up with a lengthy set getting deep into his specialist sound. Over the course of three hours, Saunderson goes on a masterful journey through Motor City magic, recorded last March in a rare Manchester appearance.

Lou Nour ‘BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix’

this two-part mix. The first hour is fully-fledged SICARIA; cavernous dubstep and weighty UK funky via tracks from Sub Basics, Ebb & Texture, Sempa and even sub bass-enforced bootleg of The Prodigy’s ‘No Good’. The second half acts as a starting pistol for her next chapter, taking us through the full-throttle stylings of Pulse Z’s ‘Zero’, Solomon’s ‘Bokeh Creeper’, yourboykiran’s ‘Bad Boy’ and Fabian Mazur’s edit of Saint Ludo and Kasst 8’s ‘Subliminals’. Across two-hours, this unique edition of the Essential Mix acts as both a historical viewpoint of the last decade, while offering an optimistic - and wholly vibrant - look at the present and the future.

SHYBOI ‘dweller electronics on NTS’

SHYBOI gets into the dweller spirit for the Brooklyn-based Black electronic music festival’s guest slot on NTS, dishing out a high-energy mixture of Baltimore club heaters, hypnotic electro, buoyant dubstep blends and Caribbean club flair – by way of tracks from DJ Babatr, Rizzla, DJ Rod Lee, Capricorn, and many many more. A joyride from start to finish.

TRAXMAN & DJ Spinn ‘Teklife Records on Kiosk Radio’

Bringing a snapshot of Chicago excellence to the Belgian airwaves, TRAXMAN and DJ Spinn take us on a footwork odyssey for Teklife Records’ guest spot on Brussels’ Kiosk Radio. Sometimes sunshine-tinged, sometimes breakneck, wholly rapturous, this mix showcases varied moods that the rapid-fire genre can lend itself to, alongside the disparate sounds that have inspired it — including jungle, soul, reggae, techno, electro… you name it, in a manner that only two of footwork’s foremost pioneers can land with such ease.

Jane Fitz ‘Houghton, 2025’

One of the most talked-about sets of last summer’s festival season arrives for playback in all its three-hour glory. Taking place at sunrise on Houghton’s Pavillion stage, arguably about a close to a ‘headline slot’ as the marathon festival has, the respected London DJ captivated and enthralled the crowd with a journey across dusty house, oddball minimal, slinky grooves, euphoric progressive, and more, asserting she’s one of the very best in the game.

Djs Pareja ‘Sunset with Motorik on FBi Radio’

Buenos Aires-based duo Djs Pareja are jewels of the South American queer underground, dealing in a feel-good cross-section of house and techno that’s flavoured with Latin rhythms, springy beats, psychedelic grooves and propuslive energy that has pushed dancefloors into sweat-soaked movement more more than two decades. See this latest transmission on Sydney’s FBi Radio for a prime example.

Midland ‘The Final Trouble Vision @ Corsica Studios’

As London prepares to say goodbye to another of its beloved nightlife venues in March (albeit, hopefully a temporary one), the final run of shows at Corsica Studios is going down in history with stacked line-ups, surprise guests and who-was-there moments. Fortunately for those who weren’t, some of the happenings are breaking containment, including Midland uploading his opening set from the final Trouble Vision party at the South London club. Opening with impeccable selections of dub, art pop and downtempo before building up through soulful house, wigged-out electro and more urgent club tracks, it’s a perfect soundtrack to lock in and remember the good times.
