Manchester club Amber's launches new in-house mix series

Manchester nightclub Amber's has launched a new in-house mix series, In Amber

Every mix from Amber's new series was recorded during events at the Oxford Road venue, with the venue saying that the mix series is "dedicated to the best sessions since our doors opened".

Having debuted on February 4, the first edition of the venue's new mix series features Manchester-based DJ and producer Mr. Scruff and regular collaborator MC Kwasi, recorded during the pair's set during Amber's opening night in December 2024.

Subsequent editions have featured resident Aletha back-to-back with Zuri, recorded on January 11, and the latest - shared last Wednesday, February 18 - from Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson, which was recorded in March 2025.

Yesterday (February 24), Amber's shared a statement criticising ticket touts, who it claims have been signing up for free tickets to its upcoming CHAOS label event on Friday, February 28, with the intention of reselling. You can read it here.
