Andreas Henneberg selects 10 commanding tunes ahead of Ocaso Festival
Powerful tracks for a pure dancefloor experience
With experience gathered in his hometown of Berlin as a producer, DJ, label owner and mastering engineer, Andreas Henneberg has been a force within, around and behind the scene for over 15 years.
Owner of his Voltage Musique imprint, Henneberg has also released on esteemed labels like Herzblut, IDEAL Audio, Desert Hearts, Toolroom, Confused Recordings, Kiddaz.FM and Material.
Always pairing his contagious showmanship behind the decks with a tasty blend of tech house, minimal and techno, Andreas Henneberg consistently proves that he has his finger on the pulse when it comes to reading the dancefloor in front him.
Before heading down to Costa Rica's Ocaso Festival for the second year in a row, Henneberg has selected 10 elite club tracks that give his sets a boost of adrenalin on a regular basis.
Taking place from January 2 to 7, the event will return to its coastal home of Tamarindo Playa - an adventurous and picturesque surfing town replete with lush jungles and gorgeous beaches.
This year's striking lineup includes artists like Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus, Gene Farris, Sacha Robotti, Jamie Jones, H.O.S.H, Magdalena, Desert Hearts brethren Mikey Lion and Lee Reynolds, West Coast rave leader Doc Martin, Kevin Knapp and more.

Tim Green 'My Dry'
"I really love the simplicity of this track and it shows how effective and comfortable a vocal can fit a minimal-house tune."
Steve Bug 'Loverboy'
"Maybe the record I played the most in my early years of DJing. I bought 3 copies of the vinyl just to be sure to always have at least one of them in my record case."
Stimming 'The Anger'
"You can listen a hundred times to this one and you will always discover something new. You can hear the passion and friskiness that he had when putting this track together."
Misstress Barbara 'Azzuri' (Luis Junior Remix)
"I fell in love with this remix the first time I heard it. The unconventional drum programming and the powerful synths play in perfect interaction to each other."
Makam 'Hide You'
"Probably one of the the most powerful house tracks ever made. It served as the inspiration behind my 2015 track, 'Bandala'."
Dj Ray & Carlos Sanchez 'Etnias'
"Every single sound or sample is sitting in the right place. It's such an aesthetic enjoyment when this track is played on a big sound system somewhere outside on the beach."
Quarks 'I Walk' (Superpitcher Schaffel Mix)
"I never been a big fan of electro clash or synthie-pop but I fell in love with the twisted synths and the energetic bassline that play in perfect harmony with the vocals on this track."
Jark Prongo 'Movin Thru Your System'
"There are so many good memories connected to this record that I have to name it. I've played it in nearly every set in the late '90s to early 2000's and it always worked out the way it was supposed to. Just a timeless masterpiece."
Pachanga Boys 'Fiesta Forever'
"Well... I would just love to do a track like this by myself. However, the Pachanga Boys were faster..."
