5 photos celebrating AVA Festival’s fifth anniversary
Five years of AVin' it
AVA Festival, one of the jewels in the Irish festival crown is turning five this weekend, marking the occasion with another weekend of banging music and compelling conference programming.
Avalon Emerson, Ben UFO, The Black Madonna and Honey Dijon feature on the stacked line-up locked in to play the anniversary edition which takes place across May 31 to June 1, while representatives from companies such as Pioneer DJ, PRS For Music and Ableton will be among those imparting wisdom at the conference.
Over the past half decade AVA has become famed for its rowdy crowds (“the Belfast Lizard”, if you know you know), next-level music performances such as KiNK orchestrating a marching band, and for its positive action in growing the Irish scene with initiatives spotlighting fresh talent.
