​14 photos capturing the riotous delight of Strawberries & Creem

Strawberries & Creem has gone down as one of Cambridgeshire’s most exciting happenings over the years, and in line with that, the festival’s 2022 edition only left fans hungry for more. This year, S&C took over Cambridge’s Childerley Orchard from June 18 until June 19 featuring a stellar line-up across both days.

Celebrating a predominantly women-led bill this year, Strawberries & Creem shared in February that a whopping 60% of its bill would be made up of female talent, championing the underground and headline-worthy acts including Ms Banks, ENNY, Mabel, Katy B, CC:DISCO! and Eclair Fifi.

Strawberries & Creem served up everything from the freshest R&B and UK rap, to ‘00s throwbacks this year – making way for its enormous headline acts, which also included Knucks, NSG, David Rodigan and Tion Wayne.

After a successful edition in 2021, Notting Hill Carnival teamed up with S&C once again this year "bringing all things carnival to Cambridge”, while all-female collective Girls Can’t DJ took over the Havana stage to raucous delight.
