The first look at RPM's new Governors Island venue featuring Carl Cox

This past weekend RPM Presents officially kicked off summer 2017 with its highly anticipated Carl Cox: Intec Island show.

The event took place at RPM owner Eddie Dean's new Governors Island venue, which has been creating an increasing amount of buzz since its announcement earlier this year.

Dean, the man responsible for bringing Pacha to New York in 2005 and effectively playing a vital role in establishing the city's thriving dance music nightlife scene, made good on his word to bring an over-the-top, elite leveled production value to his new outdoor event space.

Carl Cox: Intec Island was fitted with a massive main stage and VIP area over looking the NYC skyline, bringing the spirit of a full-on festival to the summer day-party featuring support from Pan-Pot and Darren Emerson.

Next weekend, RPM will host another monstrous event with the return of HYTE NYC. The promoter will be developing two stages for the Independence Day weekend extravaganza, bringing debatably the biggest artist line-up of summer 2017 with Richie Hawtin, Maya Jane Coles, Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Rodhad, Maceo Plex, Jackmaster, Peggy Gou and more.
