Club and electronic music mogul Eddie Dean has announced his production company RPM Presents will be activating a massive six-acre outdoor venue on New York City's Governors Island.

The event space, which sees its inaugural show this June, will feature live music, arts and culture, food and eco-friendly initiatives with views of the Lower Manhattan skyline and Statue of Liberty.

RPM Presents, which also owns Brooklyn club Schimanski and is known for bringing goliath events to New York City, partnered with the Trust for Governors Island for the new endeavor. The brand plans to completely transform the previously vacant location into a colossal venue presenting multiple stages and private viewing decks.

Event headliners like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Tiesto and Hardwell have already been announced, with many more to come.

Dean divulges on his upcoming project and teases with details: "We are really excited and can't wait to share this one-of-a-kind venue with everyone. We're bringing in top talent with highly curated line-ups to match -- and wait until you see the view".
