Operating out of the site for the last 18 months, The Cause team had been “testing and tweaking” the new location as it was being built.
During this period, the venue saw the likes of Disclosure, Nia Archives, Fred Again, Jayda G, Ross From Friends, and more.
Dubbed ‘The Cause 2.0,’ the new location will have a 60 to 1000 capacity - depending on the event, five indoor rooms and a large outdoor courtyard area featuring lighting by Sensory Studio, Martin Audio, Noise Control Audio and a state-of-the-art soundsystem.
In a post to Instagram, The Cause wrote “Our new space to dance is finally complete.”
The venue has been designed and conceived by the original team responsible for its beloved Tottenham former location. In a press release, The Cause team ensured that the project was seen to completion with zero investment, “DIY as per its roots.”
Despite its shiny new upgrades, The Cause told Instagram the venue will see “the same original vibe we know you all love,”

Truly returning to its roots in 2024, the new venue is operating as a ‘meanwhile space,’ meaning it holds a temporary contract in a space that was previously vacant. “Enjoy it whilst it lasts,” said co-founder Stuart Glen.
During the week, the space will see a host of operations making use of the ‘meanwhile-space.’ including creative enterprises, start-ups, artist projects and more.
The Cause revealed a 2024 line-up to include BLUMITSU (Jossy Mitsu + Bluetoof) Special Request, Tim Reaper, Sully, Katya, Evian Christ, Dr Rubinstein, SICARIA, Michelle Manetti and more.
The “labyrinth-like rave mecca” will also play host to several beloved UK parties including Adonis, Evian Christ’s Trance Party and Wigflex’s 18th Birthday, as well as newcomers 2CPerrea and Whoosh Weng with a bill of residents to be revealed next week.
