Swing Ting's final label release is coming this week

The Manchester collective called it quits in November after 13 years

In November 2021, it was revealed that Swing Ting productions, promotions and label releases would end.

Today, the Manchester collective announced that their label's last ever release will be out on Friday with the EP ‘Juice Flow Remixed’ from Fox.

This is a remix of Fox’s debut album ‘Juice Flow’ released by Swing Ting, and will include a selection of four remixed tracks.

The production wing of Swing Ting comprised of Balraj Samrai and Ruben Platt, launched the events in late 2000s before Fox, Sharda & Joey B joined in 2012.

As a final hurrah the collective had planned a ‘The Last Dance’ in December at SOUP, which was unfortunately not able to go ahead due to COVID.

“SOUP in the Northern Quarter of Manchester is one of the most regular homes for Swing Ting,” Balraj previously told Mixmag.

“I think venues like SOUP are really important because they obviously hold the culture quite close in terms of a small venue mentality. It’s really important to have venues that aren’t just a business venture,” said resident Swing Ting DJ Chris.
