Through social media, Skepta has always shared his admiration for Edwards including Tweets such as one in 2010 in which he published: “#nowplaying Todd Edwards - Shut The Door on repeat. It might make me cry if I'm not careful. Emotional Music. Those who know will understand”.

Now over ten years later, Skepta has replied on Instagram to the remix announcement: “18 year old me running around the block in excitement”.

Edwards also wrote: “How blessed am I??? That Skepta AND Jammer produced an EPIC remix of my track Shut The Door! BIG BIG thanks to them and Defected Records for making this magic happen!”
