The "Shrek Rave" is going on tour across the US with dates in NYC, Boston, LA and Seattle
The "Swamps Across America Tour" is guaranteed to be ogre-the-top
Shrek-themed raves will be touring the United States from now up until December in cities including Seattle, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and more.
Created by events organiser Ka5sh, the tour called Swamps Across America Tour, will have orge-themed totems, green drinks, and many shrek-dressed ravers.
The first date of the tour began earlier this month in San Francisco and will continue tonight at San Antonio’s Rock Box.

“We are coming everywhere and I mean everywhere,” Ka5sh announced in a social media post earlier this month. “Each Shrek rave will be special. I'll make sure of it!!!”
Ka5sh added that it will mix “the right amount of cringe, but also the right amount of nostalgia”.
The first film-themed rave kicked off in LA back in March 2022 which saw superstar rappers and fans raise $10k for a shooting victim.
Ka5sh organised the event to collect funds for his sister, Hayle Smith, who was robbed and shot nine times in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Among the 900 guests in attendance were rappers Rico Nasty, Yung Gravy, and Lil Aaron, who were ready to celebrate "Shrek" style.
“It’s dumb enough, but also still fun,” Ka5sh explained to Narcity at the first rave. “There are not a lot of pop culture references that you can put the word ‘rave’ in that you’d want to attend. Even ‘Spongebob Rave’ sounds a little childish, but something about ‘Shrek Rave’ just works.”
"I've dm-ed Lil Nas X a bunch of times so I think that will happen, we've just got to see," Ka5sh added. "I've got to dream big though, let's just say Kanye West, maybe he'll call back."
