Sasha joins line-up for House of Barefoot festival

The festival is the first boutique dance music event in the North East, taking place in June

North-east festival House of Barefoot - the first boutique event in the region - has added Sasha to its line-up.

Taking place from June 2 through June 5, the line-up also features John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz and more.

The Northumberland festival has a limited capacity of 2000, with the aim of allowing ample space for attendees to relax whilst offering a ‘club-like’ feel at the main stage.

Director of the festival, Jonny Stobart, says: “You might expect to see a line-up like this in cities like Berlin, New York, London and major festivals like Creamfields and Soundgarden with tens of thousands of people in attendance.

“Imagine a line-up like this with only 2000 capacity. This is exactly what we’ve created with House of Barefoot. We want to give people the opportunity to see some of the best DJs in the world in an intimate, relaxed atmosphere.”

On the event, Henry Saiz says: "This festival in particular is something very, very special because I get to play with some of my best friends. I think it's a very interesting lineup. It's refreshing to see a more prog-oriented lineup instead of the typical techno acts. [Techno] is great, but it's nice to have a festival more focused on the melodic side."

The festival offers camping, glamping and pitches for caravans and motorhomes, with glampers having access to showers too.

There will also be street food vendors and bars throughout the event to suit the 2000 attendees.
